Mood:  a-ok

Glenn snapped this photo last week.  I am 26 weeks pregnant here. 

Everything is going well with the pregnancy despite the scares early on.  

Most recently I came home from work Thursday and my world was spinning..literally!  I laid down and still felt dizzy and lightheaded.  I went to sleep at 6 p.m. and didnt really wake up until the next morning.  When I tried to get out of bed to go to work I was still dizzy..so I called into work.

I went to the doctor and he checked and said there is tons of fluid in my ears.  So I am taking benadryl and resting all weekend.  I feel so restless.  You would think I would just relax and read or something.

I finally broke down and bought a pregnancy body pillow tonight online. I really hope it works!  It is so hard to find a comfortable position to sleep in!!

The one consistent good thing about being pregnant is feeling Natalie move!  Nothing makes me happier than to feel her kicking and rolling around. I think it is a kind of reassurance she is ok.  Although I cannot wait until she is here and I can hold her and snuggle her and kiss her..I do try to take time and relax and enjoy what time we have together right now!  Only she and I can share this time.  God has entrusted me with this new person and it is just amazing. AMAZING isn't a strong enough word.  The love I have for Natalie already is so strong.  I'd do anything for her!!

Ok, work has kept me away from here for way too long!  Since I posted last so much has happened with my pregnancy!  I am now almost 23 weeks pregnant!

We found out about a month ago we're having a baby girl!  We honestly didn't care if it was a boy or a girl...but it was still very exciting to find out.  We've also picked out a name for her: Natalie Morgan!  Natalie is alredy giving some good kicks and punches in the belly!!  I love feeling her move around.  It is amazing how in an instant a baby you've never met becomes the most important person in your life!

 Due to a bicornuate uterus I am a "high risk" pregnancy but so far so good.  I did have several episdoes of bleeding during the first trimester and each time I was so scared. 

When I get a chance I want to build a site for Natalie but for now I'll settle to update the blog.  Here are the ultrasound photos so far.  I go back to my regular OB and high risk ob next week, so hopefully I'll have a couple of current photos next week!

I'll never forget when this one was taken..when the doctor put the ultrasound probe on my belly the baby starting kickging and looked so mad..like we were disturbing her peaceful world!  It was the first time we ever saw her move!!

Definitely looking human in this one!  :)  You can even see her teeth forming in her gums!

I have not been keeping up with my blog at all!  But I now have something interesting to write about on here...my pregnancy!!

Glenn and I found out 3-10 that I am pregnant.  

The baby is due in November.

It is so amazing and exciting! Monday Glenn and I got to see and hear the baby's heart beating during an ultrasound!!!!

 This entry is going to be a little about everything.....so I am not going to categorize it.

 A couple of people who participated on a bird messageboard with me have found me via my website/blog.  There may be some other lurkers out there from that board....so I decided to update my blog a little.

Update on my birds:  Kudzu died in November..right before Thanksgiving after an extended illness.  That poor little guy fought and fought.  We really miss him.

 Abby..is well ABBY.  He is rotten and spoiled.  Here lately he has decided he is also in love with Beau.  We're pretty sure Beau is a hen by the coloring of his/her cere.

 But Abby still does make time to flirt with the mouse (yes he has problems)

 I have to include this photo:  Abby acting like a vicious T-REX.  RAH!!!

 As far as my birds and their sanity (or lack thereof) Meadow became OBSESSED with this swing.  You see the little green arch?  She sat on THAT part of the swing so much...it rubbed her feathers off!  WHAT A DORK!!!!!  I had to remove the swing.  Her feathers are growing back nicely....but for a while she was one raggedy little bug!

 This about all we saw of Meadhead...for weeks.  Until I realized that she was rubbing her feathers off by sitting there so much.  

 I've managed to maintain my weight loss through the winter months.  I'd like to get that last 20 lbs off...but I am doing well! :)  Way to go me! lol I like this photo of Glenn and I.  It was the day that Tennessee beat Alabama! LOL  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

OK! WOW!  That is a lot of updating!! lol I'll try to do better from now on. 

Right now my sinuses are raging (again...long story and I am not getting into it)....so I think I will warm some tea , and burrow under the covers and read.  Right now I am reading Stephen King's The Stand.  Friends and loved ones have been bugging me to read it for years....and I finally am!  I am about halfway through...Larry Underwood just met Frannie in Boulder.  (For those who want to know WHERE I am).  I love this book so far. 

Other than that....that's all folks.  Glenn had a broken vertebrae this fall.  He was out on disability for a few months.  But that is old news now..as thankfully he has healed and has suffered no long term issues.
